CRP repair patch (including the matching repair adhesive rod HMAS) is a radiation-crosslinked repair patch specially designed and developed for repairing damage to the corrosion protection layer of steel pipelines caused by impacts. It is composed of radiation-crosslinked polyolefin substrate and special sealing hot-melt adhesive.
During construction, the CRP repair patch is heated, causing the special hot-melt adhesive coating to melt and bond tightly with the damaged area. It forms an integral bond with the original pipeline's external corrosion protection layer, adhering uniformly to the pipeline's surface and creating a continuous and tight corrosion protection system. It can withstand soil stress and hydrostatic pressure, resist cathodic disbondment, chemical corrosion, microbial erosion, and various forms of corrosion. It provides long-term and effective protection for steel pipelines.
